Advanced Beginner/Intermediate Quilting Class: Next Steps (Half-Square Triangles) with Jennifer Hynes

Students will take skills learned in beginning quilting class to bring new designs to life. 

Simple but effective design units –half-square triangles – will be created, then arranged by students for unique overall designs. Pick your favorite colors or use scrap fabrics – everyone’s quilt will be different. We will work through all stages (design, cutting fabric, sewing blocks, arranging and joining units, basting, quilting or tying, binding) to create a quilt of your chosen size.

Preferably, students will have taken a beginning quilting class. Some materials will be provided, students will be asked to bring their own fabrics.

This class will be held on Saturday, April 16, 23 and May 14 from 10:00 -1:00 pm.
