The Southeastern Quilt and Textile Museum has over 200 quilts from the southeast. These quilts range from the late 1700s through the early 2000s. Each year our collection volunteers process and add new quilts to our database. Select quilts are now searchable below.

Research Requests

The Southeastern Quilt and Textile Museum welcomes visitors to use the collections and research library onsite by appointment. Research requests can be made through the form below. Research ​requests are handled on a first come, first served basis. It could take 3 to 4 weeks for a volunteer to contact you about your request. Donations for the museum’s time are always appreciated.

The Museum collects quilts and related materials connection to the southeast which consist of Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Mississippi.

All potential quilt donations will be reviewed by our collection committee. Please complete the form below for all potential donations.
