Design and Make Your Own Quilt in a Courthouse Steps Block pattern with Jennifer Hynes

Students will design and make a small quilt (baby quilt, lap quilt, wall-hanging) using simple but effective blocks in the traditional courthouse steps design. Pick your favorite colors or use scrap fabrics – everyone’s quilt will be different. We will work through all stages (design, cutting fabric, sewing blocks, arranging and joining units, basting, tying, binding) to create a quilt of your chosen size.

Sewing machines provided in class, participants must know how to operate a machine. Some materials provided; students will be asked to bring their own fabric.

Class dates & times: Jan. 18, Feb. 01 & 15, 2025 | 1:00p - 4:00p

Class cost: $160
