The Southeastern Quilt and Textile Museum community storytelling series will expand on the Sacred Threads Traveling Exhibit allowing for greater connections to the exhibit’s themes of healing, brotherhood and sisterhood, and spirituality. March’s storytelling theme will be Starting Again. It will feature a mix of invited storytellers, along with a safe platform for audience participation. This series will be held starting at 7:00 pm on the third Saturday of each month from January through March of 2024. The series is geared for adult audiences, but everyone over the age of 12 is invited to attend. This is a free public event.
This project is supported by Georgia Humanities, in partnership with the Georgia Department of Economic Development, through funding from the Georgia General Assembly.
