Quilting 1 - Session I

If you know how to sew and would like to learn to quilt, this is the class for you! You will learn all the steps from cutting the fabric to binding the finished quilt. Participants must have basic sewing skills and access to a sewing machine outside of class. Sewing machines provided during class. Materials are not included, see list below.

Materials List for you to bring:

  • 1/4 yard each of six different, coordinating cotton fabrics

  • 2 yards of a coordinating fabric for the backing and binding

    • If you wish your binding to be different from your backing then purchase a yard and a half of backing and a half a yard of material for your binding.

  • 45″ X 52″ batting.

    • *Batting can be purchased in class for an extra $10

All materials should be 100% cotton.

This is a 3 session Saturday class from 9:30-noon on October 5th and 10:00 to noon on October 12 & 19th. The cost is $110 per person. Must Pre-register.
